Coin De Mire Snorkelling

On Wednesday (29 January 2025) I had the amazing experience of jumping off a boat into Coin De Mires Waters.

The water was super clear and warm and the different blues of the sea came alive under the water. The waves were splashing loudly against the cliffs however it felt further away than what it was as I was floating about the bright and alive coral that was gently moving with the tide at the bottom of the sea bed. Pink tropical fish and white and black striped fish (my favourite ones) came to say hi to me as I dived and swam in their kingdom. My heart felt calm and it's like the world stopped breathing for a moment to
celebrate the ocean's beauty.

When I resurfaced from the sea I was greeted with Coin de Mires cliffs that glow in the early morning light, with elegant white birds soaring above. The scene felt like it was straight out of a movie and that it could not possibly be real ,however it is - nature is truly amazing! 

I was at first hesitant to jump into the 5 metre deep water. Anything could happen and about a thousand different scenarios flooded my head, however I still jumped and I am so grateful I did. It's now one of my most precious and extraordinary adventures.
